One of our fundamental plans of building this blog-site is to give every information to the readers and visitors including the Pros and Cons of each service, the advantages and disadvantages and also my personal opinion and experience. This way, im giving my visitors and readers the “Authority” to choose which programs suit their needs best. Im starting off with Metrobank money transfer to the Philippines.
Personally, I have never tried to use their service to send money to Philippines but I know they are one of the biggest banks in the Philippines so I think it would be beneficial to review their service first.
The process of money remittance:

The Bad:
Our Opinion:
Metrobank is a trusted name in the Philippines and I think they are one of the most trusted here. However, its completely a different thing if youre extending your services abroad. Online remittance to the Philippines is an industry that is increasingly on demand. In order to cope up, MetroBank has to have more functionalities, more services and more improvements to have an A rating.
Our rating:
2 stars out of 5.

In recent years, United Kingdom has been called home for much of the overseas filipino workers or widely known as the OFW’s. Deemed more livable than United States, UK has been a prime destination for skilled workers and and immigrants alike.
Given the fact that these skilled workers are working pretty hard to send money to the Philippines, one cannot set aside the problem of unsecured money remittance to the Philippines. Let me tell you a brief story about my aunt who has been nurse in London for 12 years now. Her family is still in the Philippines and she occasionally send money to them via “pakiusap” or asking people who are going home to bring the money home. Three Christmas seasons ago, this practice came to an abrupt halt when she sent money to the philippines via a friend and this friend of hers claimed that the bag where she hid the money was misplaced on her way home from the airport. To make the story short, the money was gone. Without a trace.
Now a moral should be seen in this situation; money remittance to the philippines is not a small deal. The right people and the right company should handle this things for a safer delivery. Now, my aunt sends money using iKobo Money Transfer after I convinced her to do so.
This is one of the main reasons why I established this site my dear friends. To help people not only from UK but to any area of the world to safely send money to the philippines.
